interalia is a material-focused practice: every project explores texture, form, colour, and structure, attending to the physical and poetic life of materials, with a particular depth in the adaptive reuse of architectural heritage. Projects are built through direct relationships with clients, fellow professionals, and local suppliers — makers and craftspeople selected and briefed personally, with designs shaped in dialogue with them. All of the studio's products are designed and made locally, in Copenhagen and Naples, through made-to-order production.
The name comes from the Latin inter alia, "among other things." The wordmark itself is set lowercase, in a plain sans-serif, and appears differently depending on where it sits — on the studio's digital material, its colour shifting against the background beneath it, and, on the studio's physical stationery, blind-embossed into white card, legible only by touch and shadow. A single fixed blue — pure digital blue, RGB 0,0,255 — runs through the site's interface states and the studio's cardstock, the identity's one saturated colour against an otherwise restrained, black-and-white system. A loosely drawn, overlapping circular motif recurs across all the material — animated, rotating slowly on the website; static on the business cards, project folders, and letterhead — a quiet, hand-drawn counterpoint to the wordmark's precision throughout.
The website was built by the studio's founder, and organises the studio's work into three categories — Spaces, Objects, Reflections — each project page following the same structure: full-bleed photography, a plain-text project description, and a metadata block listing category, services, team, and location. The studio's own copy — its About page, and the text for each project — was written as part of the same identity work, in the same restrained, plain-spoken register the visual system follows. Photography for each project was directed by the studio's founder, working closely with the photographer to shape how each space was shown. The stationery system extends the same logic into print: individually named business cards for each co-founder, project dossiers with hand-labelled covers, and letterhead carrying the studio's contact details in a thin footer strip, restrained enough to let each project's own material speak first.
Communications for the studio were handled directly by the founder — press submissions, the studio's social media accounts, and its newsletter all set up and run in house. Project management for the studio runs on a customised system the founder built in Notion, structuring how the two co-founders coordinate projects, from early client contact through to delivery.
